Export Control

Compliance with the complex Export Control Regulations is essential today. Knowledge of and adherence to the major export control regulations (the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)) are of critical importance. Failure in this area can result in multi-million dollar fines, extensive jail terms for key management personnel, the forfeiture of goods, and the loss of export privileges company-wide. Even if your company does not directly export products outside the U.S., you can be in violation by such actions as sharing critical application technical data with foreign employees or customers, allowing plant tours for non-US persons, or detailing military or certain commercial products on your web sites, in your PR materials or at conferences.
To assure that your management and personnel are fully cognizant of and in compliance with all of the International Trafficking in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR), and Export Control registrations and requirements, True North will provide the following:
